The Society for Neuroscience provides international societies with a list of unique ID numbers (called “ISM abstract slots”) that allow a set number of individuals, who are not members of SfN, to submit abstracts to the SfN annual meeting and register for the meeting at the SfN member rate.
The slots should be awarded first to students and postdoctoral candidates and secondly to people in Category I, II, and III countries of the region as defined by the World Bank.
(※ Please find the information of Category I, II, and III countries at https://www.sfn.org/membership/membership-fees/information-for-members-in-developing-countries)
Please find the attached “2023 International Abstract Slots Instructions for Submission” for your reference,
and send the list (name, e-mail address, institution, personal or institutional address, country, and status (student, postdoctoral candidate, junior faculty, tenured faculty)) to me (hrjung@kbri.re.kr) and Dr. Sung-Jin Jeong (sjjeong@kbri.re.kr) by no later than June 7th (Wednesday), 2023.
Once we receive the list, we will send the ISM Code on June 12th (Monday) so that the ISM code recipients can submit their abstract on time.
